IBM's Lotus messaging and collaboration software will be coming to the world's hottest new mobile gadget: the Apple iPad. Lotus Notes customers can download the new software, IBM Lotus Notes Traveler, for no charge, and get two-way, over-the-air synchronization of email, calendar, and contact between Lotus Domino servers and mobile devices, including the iPad. Lotus Notes will automatically synchronize between the iPad and the server or computer, and offers per message email encryption.
IBM Lotus Notes Traveler Companion is a native iPhone OS application and is available in the App Store.
