Socialtext, the creator of SocialPoint, announced the new version of its enterprise social software platform will include two communications capabilities that are able to be integrated into Microsoft SharePoint.

Through Socialtext Signals, customers can engage in enterprise microblogging within SharePoint. Socialtext People, which can also operate from within SharePoint, is a social directory that shows a person's photo, skills, latest activities, and contact information.
