Cloud content platform company, Alfresco, released the results of the company's 2012 Global Tablet in the Enterprise survey, which polled 308 IT professionals. According to this survey, Alfresco found that mobile and tablet adoption is being led by IT departments. Alfresco believes this finding counteracts the general perception of the "consumerization of IT" trend, meaning employees do not necessarily bring consumer technology into the workplace.
